Whether you’re a new or existing patient, we know you may have questions. Here are answers to some of the most common enquiries we receive at our Dunstable dental clinic.
Appointments & Booking
How do I book an appointment?
Call us on 01582663444 or complete our Callback Request Form. We’ll help find a convenient time for you.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes, but please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. For missed or short-notice cancellations please refer to our FTA policy.
Can I request to see the same dentist each time?
We aim to provide continuity of care whenever possible. Let our reception team know if you have a preferred clinician.
New Patients
Are you accepting new NHS patients?
At present, we are not registering new NHS patients. Private patients are welcome.
What do I need for my first visit?
Bring your NHS number (if applicable), medical history, and any exemption certificates. We’ll send a medical form in advance or have one ready at reception.
NHS vs Private Care
What’s covered under NHS dental care?
NHS care includes:
Exams
Fillings
Extractions
Crowns and dentures (if clinically needed)
Cosmetic treatments such as whitening and veneers are not covered.
Can I switch between NHS and private care?
Yes. You can choose NHS care for routine needs and opt for private care when you’d like cosmetic treatments or shorter wait times.
Emergencies
How do I book an emergency dental appointment?
Call us at 9:00am for same-day availability. Slots are limited and given on a first-come basis.
If you’re looking for dentists in Dunstable who provide both NHS and private care, our reception team is happy to help guide your booking.
