Dr Claassen studies at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and graduated in 1989.
He completed various post-graduate courses in cosmetic dentistry, and did two years National Service working as a dentist.
He went on to open his own practice in Cape Town., before coming to England in 1997 to work at Great Northern Road Dental Clinic. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his two boys play rugby and cricket.
